We are looking for an enthusiastic team member who is ready for a challenge in the world of biotechnology innovations for efficient drug discovery.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Recent BSc or MSc in Science and technology related subjects.
• Good organisation and time management skills.
• Previous experience working in a technical or engineering environment, sales experience – not essential but advantageous.
• Show an aptitude towards software-based engineering and drawing e.g. Computer Aided Design (CAD) and other similar 3D software
• Motivation to succeed, ability to think creatively, and positive working attitude.
The candidate will be offered full training, and development opportunities.
What you will do:
• Supporting R&D teams in new product design.
• Assembling parts and components to create products and product kits, demo kits etc.
• Preparing Product labels, packaging, and dispatch, restocking and rotating inventory.
• Product evaluation, customer support.
• Organizing workspaces for optimal productivity, and maintaining appropriate equipment and supply levels.
• Represent the company and its products at conferences and business events.
• Provide basic technical support, generate quotes, invoices, and complete order fulfilment process.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Provide event management support for our annual international conference and webinars.
You should be a self- starter, and eventually we would like you to develop an independent approach of working in a team and be able to organise your own communication with the customers and arrange site visits if required.
The role may require some travelling (subject to COVID restrictions) and interacting with customers. Ideally you would be based in York or nearby areas as the role if site-based. Occasional remote working would be possible.

- Previous sales/marketing experience – not essential but advantageous.

The candidate will be offered full sales & product training, and development opportunities.
What you will do:
